Independent, local and built on collaboration
Albion Animal Hospital opened in April 2021 to bring modern, full-service veterinary medicine to Maple Ridge — without losing the personal relationships of a neighbourhood practice.
Opened in April 2021 by Dr. Bedi and team
What began as a small, independently owned clinic has grown into a full-service hospital serving Maple Ridge and the surrounding communities.
Dr. Bedi and the founding team set out to build a practice where veterinarians work cases together rather than in isolation. Daily rounds, shared imaging reviews and open second opinions are simply how we operate.
That collaborative model extends beyond our walls. Visiting board-certified surgeons perform advanced orthopaedic and soft-tissue procedures on site, so many patients who would otherwise be referred to Vancouver can be treated close to home.
We also invest heavily in mentorship. New graduates are paired with experienced clinicians, and our registered technicians are supported in growing into dentistry, anesthesia and emergency specialties.
Collaborative care
Cases are discussed as a team — you get more than one veterinarian's thinking.
Visiting specialists
Board-certified surgeons operate in our suite for advanced procedures.
Mentorship culture
We train and grow the next generation of veterinarians and RVTs.
Long-term relationships, transparent communication
We would rather know your pet for fifteen years than see them once. That means building trust visit by visit: remembering the details, tracking trends in bloodwork, and understanding what matters to your family.
It also means honesty. We explain what we know, what we don't, and what each option costs before we proceed — including the option to wait or to do nothing. No pressure, no surprise invoices.
